Development of an Integrated Reporting Information System to ACER

Project Purpose

The purpose of the project is to create an integrated information system for managing data on the one hand on natural gas supply and trading contracts and on the other hand on the transactions carried out within the framework of these contracts, in order to fulfill the obligations arising from DEPA’s role as an already registered Participant in the wholesale natural gas market and as a Registered Reporting Mechanism (RRM) to the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 1227/2011, on the integrity and transparency of the wholesale energy market (Regulation on the wholesale Energy Market Integrity and Transparency – REMIT), and its Implementing Regulation (EU) No. 1348/2014 on the reporting of data for the application of Article 8 paragraphs 2 and 6.

Provision of the Necessary Services Relating to the Creation of an Application for the Electronic Submission of Lists and Applications for Preference of Judicial Representatives

Through a new web portal and its cooperation with the existing electoral program

Purpose of the Project

Within the framework of the Project, equipment and a new software application were provided in accordance with the requirements of the Supreme Court. The web application that was developed is interconnected with the already existing electoral appointment program of the service and enables associations and services to register the data and preference applications of their members online. At the same time, it enables the registration of a preference application for a candidate judicial representative at an individual level.

The main functions of the new application are:

• The registration of candidates for judicial representatives by the services and associations. The structure of the list and the information included in it will be in full accordance with the requirements of the existing electoral program of the Supreme Court and the automatic transfer of data to it will be ensured.
• The registration of applications for preferences of the above. Each interested party will be able to choose by their application either to be excluded from the process or to be appointed to an electoral district, a municipality, a region or anywhere in Greece by selecting
• The possibility of printing the receipt of submission of an application for preference and the final locking of the details of the candidates and these applications. After the final locking, the data will be entered into the database of the Supreme Court’s electoral program while the final list will be printed by the users, signed and sent to the Supreme Court for final verification.
• The ability to search, after the draws, for the appointment of each candidate, while the services and associations of the country will be able (through the above certification) to obtain complete records or printouts of the appointments of their members. The Prosecutor’s Offices of the country, which are responsible for the performance of appointments, will be able in a similar way to obtain data for all the appointments they have to perform, while the regional commissioners, Regions and Municipalities will be able to have the corresponding data for the final appointments of the representatives of their region. The uploading of all the above data to the site after each draw of the first electoral process after the delivery of the program, will be done by the contractor, with a standardized and clear procedure.

Project Contract with the subject of “Development of an Interoperable Geo-Information Infrastructure for the monitoring, management and implementation of maritime policy by the Ministry of Shipping and the Aegean”

Within the framework of the strategic project “Cross-Border Cooperation for the Development of Maritime Spatial Planning” co-financed by the Cross-Border Cooperation Programme “Greece-Cyprus 2007-2013”.

Project Scope

Contract 05/2015 concerns the creation of a Specialized and Interoperable Geoinformation Infrastructure for Marine Spatial Planning, which can be connected to other dynamic systems of the Ministry of the Interior or other bodies and disseminate information to individual services as well as via web-GIS.

In particular, the project includes:

1. The development of a Geographic Information Processing, Production and Management Subsystem (GIS).
2. The development of an Internet Information Dissemination Subsystem (IDIS).
3. The design and development of a Cartographic Database (CDB) and an index with a cartographic background.
4. The supply and installation of the necessary system hardware and software.

• IBM HS23 blade servers
• Projection Modules
• Pre-built Software (SYMC BACKUP, ARCGIS X)
• LCD video wall for high and mid-end applications

5. The training of the YNA staff at various levels of specialization.
6. The integration of the new systems with the existing IT and communications infrastructures of the YNA.
7. The provision of Technical Support services that cover issues of proper use and management of applications as well as failure of equipment or software components.
8. The guarantee of proper operation of the overall system.

Project Equipment

The Contractor, within the framework of the Contract, has offered, installed, adjusted and put into operation the appropriate equipment (hardware and software), in order to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Infrastructure. In addition, it has proceeded to any necessary parameterization / adaptation of the offered equipment, in accordance with the requirements of the Service.

Project Agreement dated 2/7/2015 between the Special Research Fund Account of Panteion University and the Contractor Cosmos Business Systems SA

“Digital Foundation” of Panteion University: Electronic Management of Daily Operations and Provision of One-Stop Electronic Services

Project Scope

The project scope was the development of electronic procedures and the provision of outbound digital services to members of the academic community (faculty members, students, administrative staff) and suppliers of the University, taking into account the most modern access methods with emphasis and the rules of safe use.

The project also aimed to upgrade and strengthen the internal procedures of the University with methods that will facilitate the submission of bids by suppliers, reducing the management times of the respective procedures while simultaneously organizing the funding management framework.

The project specified a total of 34 digital services that were implemented through the development of the following subsystems:

• Subsystem-1: Digital Services Portal for Students and Faculty
• Subsystem-2: Administrative and Financial Services
• Subsystem-3: Electronic Protocol
• Subsystem-4: Workflow Management and Document Management System
• Subsystem-5: Project Management of the Special Research Fund Account

All digital services are provided through cloud services hosted at the facilities of the National Research and Technology Network (NRTN).

Provision of Software Development Services and Its Integration into Existing Hardware and Software Infrastructure Systems of LAGIE

For the creation of an integrated information system to fulfill the obligations of the role of LAGIE S.A. as a Registered Reporting Mechanism (RRM) to the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators-ACER) in accordance with EU Regulation 1227/2011 (REMIT Regulation) and EU Implementing Regulation 1348/2014.

The basic functionality of the system includes:

• The collection of the required primary transaction data (trading orders (offers) and their results (contracts)) from the existing infrastructures of the Electricity Transaction Information Management System
• The transformation of these into the appropriate ACER format (XML)
• The notification using the necessary infrastructures and specifications for secure notification to the specialized ACER information systems (Agency Remit Information System – ARIS)
• The collection by ACER of confirmations of receipt / correctness of the notified data (XML)

Project contract with the subject: “Horizontal support tools for service management and security”

In the context of Subproject 3: “Horizontal support tools for service management and security” of the Project “Platform for the Provision of Services for the Deposit, Management and Disposal of Open Public Documentation Data and Digital Content” with MIS code 327378.

The Project

This project is part (Subproject 3) of the Project “Platform for providing services for the deposit, management and distribution of open public documentation data and digital content” (MIS 327378) and its beneficiary and operating body is the National Documentation Center (EKT).

Project Scope

The main objective of the Project is to provide “cloud services” for open documented digital content, provided as integrated SaaS software services and supporting the creation and operation of digital repositories and library automation systems. The software services are complemented by electronic support services (e-helpdesk), distance learning (e-learning), as well as online support tools for the organization and distribution of information and content produced.

The services are provided centrally, by the advanced electronic infrastructure of the EKT, to a large number of entities in order to organize or distribute the metadata and digital content they produce. Within the framework of the project, large-scale actions were implemented with a horizontal intervention character in a large number of public interest entities such as libraries, memory institutions – museums, entities that have archival material, art and culture organizations, public administration entities, research organizations, etc. with the aim of highlighting and making available Greek digital content and the data associated with it.

Purpose of the System

Specifically, the implementation of the act aims to create the conditions for a “comprehensive and integrated” intervention, with cutting-edge technology, so that the actions taken daily by public interest bodies and briefly related to the cataloguing, documentation, management of information and content available to users or used within the body are carried out using standards at all stages. The intervention was designed and implemented with the model of providing integrated SaaS software services, taking into account that the bodies in the scope of application have a high degree of heterogeneity not only between different categories but even between bodies in the same category.

“Road Transport Control System” – (IPS Code: 340081)

Axis 2 of subproject 4 of the operation entitled “Upgrading of the Mechanisms for the Protection of Labor Relations and Related Communication and Information Services Using ICT”

Project Scope

The Project aimed at the procurement of special, standardized equipment and the development of a central application for managing road transport inspections. The equipment is necessary for the road transport inspections to be carried out in the best possible way by SEPE Labour Inspectors, in accordance with the legislation. These inspections are carried out on the road or at company premises and concern the observance of the prescribed working hours of heavy goods vehicle drivers and the correct use and operation of the required in-vehicle inspection device (digital or analogue tachograph).

The central application for managing road transport inspections is necessary for the road transport inspections to be organised, carried out and utilised in the best possible way by SEPE Labour Inspectors.

Project Equipment

The equipment that the Contractor would supply through this project is standardized in sets called “Workshop Equipment”. Each such set includes portable tachograph data acquisition equipment, a laptop and special software for recording and analyzing the specific data and a portable printer for printing inspection notes and violations. In total, the supply of at least 300 such sets of equipment was required, while the Union also observed and delivered a minimum quantity of spare parts, at least equal to 10% of the equipment sets it supplied. These spare parts are complete equipment units and not components thereof. That is, complete devices (e.g. scanners, downloaders, portable computing devices) were made available as spare parts.

The Central Application

The “Central Application” was the tool for the collection, archiving, statistical analysis of audit data as well as for the planning and coordination of the execution of audits. Through a Web-based environment, the involved employees of SEPE have all the necessary tools that cover user and role management, audit management, audit data utilization, audit planning and statistical analysis.

In parallel with the present project, SEPE is implementing and developing an integrated information system with which significant interoperability requirements were met.

In addition to the supply of equipment and the development of the Central Application, the contractor also offered a series of “services” of training, pilot operation and technical support to SEPE.
