Cosmos Business Systems and Dell Technologies participated as Diamond sponsors at the GEN AI Summit held on Monday, November 18 at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.

During the conference, Cosmos Group’s new AI subsidiary, Novelcosmos, presented its new product, Noesis, a leading “smart” application for managing and searching legal documents, designed to meet the specialized needs of legal professionals and organizations in the Knowledge-Based Society.

At the established annual press conference given by the President of the Cosmos Business Systems group, Mr. Dimitris Dafnis, on Thursday 31/10/2024, he referred to the rapid upward growth of the group and the increase in revenue for 2024 to €75 million from €66 million in 2023, the participation in investment programs, the establishment of the new company Novelcosmos AE in collaboration with the company Novelcore, the participation and implementation of major ICT projects, as well as market trends in Greece, Cyprus and internationally.

The Cosmos group is one of the main Systems Integrators of the Greek and Cypriot Market, in the sectors of Information Technology, Telecommunications and Networks, Data Security, Software, Specialized Services, Printing Solutions & Digitization, as well as Artificial Intelligence (AI).

During the interview, an extensive analysis of the current market situation in Greece and abroad was made, giving an indication of the group’s business plans for the period up to 2030. The plans also include strengthening its capital base in order to finance growth and collaborations/acquisitions.

According to the company’s President, Mr. Dimitris Dafnis: “Our main strategy is balanced growth with profitability and to be “in the market” of the future. The window of opportunity that opened with the implementation of the State’s long-term projects with the RRF, provides the unique opportunity to create “national champions”, Greek businesses that will not have a short-term horizon like the Recovery Fund, but will lead the country in the next two decades of technological development and extroversion in the private and public sectors. Cosmos intends to be present and a protagonist.”

The future investments announced by the company concern new projects in Greece and Cyprus, the expansion of new strategic partnerships in the Security & Data Centers sectors, the development of Software for the public sector and Artificial Intelligence applications – with an emphasis on the management of large volumes of texts in Greek, and the investment strategy for the period 2025 -2030.
