In the press conference given by the President of Cosmos Group, Mr. Dimitris Dafnis, on Thursday 31/10/2024, he announced the establishment of the new Societe Anonyme with the name: Novelcosmos SA, created by the collaboration of the companies Cosmos Business Systems & Novelcore and headquartered in Athens.

Cosmos Business Systems’ participation in the new company is 55%, while Novelcore holds 45%. The company’s equity will gradually rise to 1 million Euros, as many of the infrastructures are covered by the parent companies. Cosmos is already building a Data Center for the needs of Artificial Intelligence, at its offices in Thessaloniki.

The new company Novelcosmos already offers Greek LLMs (Large Language Models), which are ideal for managing large databases, searching and classifying texts, as well as for their semantic processing and creating new texts based on existing information. The National Printing House and the Government Gazette already use the new company’s technology, which is constantly being improved.

Novelcosmos’ solutions are aimed at public and private entities, such as banks, insurance companies, public services, personnel management departments, credit rating departments, health institutions, the land registry, law firms, notaries, and many others. This technology has the ability to be adapted and expanded with new models, according to the specific needs of each client.

The new system is an integrated platform that upgrades the operations of the National Printing Office, fully covering the procedures for receiving, processing and publishing the Government Gazette (GF), with advanced information flow technologies and the use of Artificial Intelligence, AI, made in Greece!

The project, which is in operation (Live), open to all citizens, improves public service and simplifies the organization’s internal procedures.

Search technology with the introduction of the innovative Smart Search Engine by following the link search.et.gr, which leverages the power of artificial intelligence and advanced natural language processing to deliver accurate and personalized results. The new search engine goes beyond traditional keyword matching methods, using advanced machine learning and natural language processing (NLP) techniques. This allows for understanding the meaning and relevance of searches, offering results that meet the real needs of users.

The project was awarded to the association of companies under the name “DATAVERS E.P.E. – COSMOS COMPUTERS A.E.B.E.” in July 2024, in which Cosmos participated with a 50% stake and was responsible for developing the Search Subsystem, in collaboration with the high-tech company Novelcore.
